CFD''s Artificial Boxwood Installation on a Terrace

CFD has been a part of the Chelsea Flower Market for over 20 years.  We have had the opportunity to work with some of the best designers in the New York area as well as from around the world. The Chelsea Flower Market has cultivated a diverse, dynamic, and yet close-knit art community for over a century in New York. The history and personality of the Chelsea Flower Market brings a unique energy into our silk line. Since our customers demand for the most realistic and varied artificial flora, we are dedicated to being the top source for quality silks.
We are excited to expand our line as we continue to push the standards of silk floral and green landscaping design. We invite you to check our website often for updates.

Founder Bios

CFD (Center of Floral Design) was founded by David and Wendy Chiu in 1989. Before immigrating to the U.S. in 1979, David and Wendy were accomplished artists in Hong Kong. David has spent most of his life in the arts as a painter, a sculptor, a Chinese calligraphy artist, a writer, and he holds a degree in Architecture. Wendy managed a gallery in Hong Kong and has a background in water and oil painting.

CFD’s inspiration continues to stem from a high regard for the tradition of floral and landscape design, as well as from our organic background in the arts.
